Birthplace: Rochester, Michigan
(grew up in Delaware, Ohio - Go Bucks!)
Title: Head Bean Wrangler
What I do on the farm: Everything from field to cup.
Away from the farm I like to: golf, scuba dive, hike,
and play with my dogs; Sylvie and Petey.

Amy Axelrod
Birthplace: Marion, Ohio
Title: Sr. Taster
What I do on the farm: Mostly coffee sales
administration, but I also enjoy the outdoor stuff.
It's common to spot turkeys, Jackson chameleons, and
the farm cats- Sally, Pua, Nani, and Alii, while working
in the field.
Away from the farm I like to: outrigger paddle and golf.
I also like to carve ipus with my friends.

Birthplace: Richmond, Virginia
(grew up in southern Wisconsin)
Title: Coffee Sensai
What I do on the farm: Consult, break, fix, roast, pulp,
drink (coffee!)
Away from the farm I like to: Socialize with friends
and fellow-farmers, deep sea fish. You may recognize
me from my appearance on "Wild Kingdom" in
the 1970's during my career as a wildlife biologist
with the Alaska Dept of Fish and game. No autographs,
please!

Mae Nelson
Birthplace: The Alaskan village of Shishmaref which
is located north of Nome on the Seward Peninsula (grew
up in Nome, Alaska)
Title: Coffee Talker
What I do on the farm: Take telephone inquiries and
orders. If you call to order coffee, chances are, we'll
chat!
Away from the farm I like to: make my annual summer
journey back to my Eskimo roots in Nome, Alaska. While
there I like to visit family and friends, salmon fish,
and berry pick.
